Announcement

Myanma Railways has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable local, international and joint venture developers to undertake design and build works for Yangon Central Railways Station Area Comprehensive Development.

Total of 18 EOI’s received from potential Developers on the date of 6 January 2016 from 14 countries. MR has reviewed and evaluated all the submitted EOI’s. On the basis of the information provided with EOI, Myanma Railways has shortlisted 15 potential developers who prove themselves capable enough for the development as stated below -

MR is now inviting the shortlisted potential Developers to prepare and submit Request for Proposal (RFP).

RFP Document of the proposed Yangon Central Railways Station Area Comprehensive Development Project could be obtained from 6.3.2016 to 31.5.2016.

The non-refundable fee for RFP Document including an electronic copy (a CD Rom), total of US$ 30,000.00    (USD Dollars thirty thousand only) is payable to the Banks in respective countries which have established correspondence with MFTB.

The original receipt from the bank issued for the RFP Document fees must be affixed to the first page of the Tendering Document upon submission.

The completed RFP Document shall be submitted to the Deputy General Manager, Supply Department, Myanma Railways, Corner of Theinbyu Street and Merchant Street, Botahtaung Township, Yangon, Myanmar, Phone +95 1 291985 or 291994 not later than 14:00 hrs, on 19 August 2016.
