COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT FOR YANGON CENTRAL RAILWAYS STATION COMPLEX

 

Myanma Railways has invited Expression of Interest (EOI) from reputable local, international and joint venture developers on 26 April 2014 to undertake design and build works for Yangon Central Railways Station Area Comprehensive Development.

Total of 34 EOI’s received from potential Developers from 12 different countries (Myanmar, Malaysia, Italy, Korea, Qatar, France, Taiwan, Japan, China, Singapore, Canada and Vietnam) on the date of 26 May 2014. Potential Developers from 12 countries have participated.

MR has reviewed and evaluated all the submitted EOI’s. On the basis of the information provided with EOI, Myanma Railways has shortlisted 28 potential developers who prove themselves capable enough for the development.

MR is now inviting the shortlisted potential Developers to prepare and submit Request for Proposal (RFP) with effect from 31 July 2014.

RFP Document of the proposed Yangon Central Railways Station Area Comprehensive Development Project could be obtained from Deputy General Manager, Supply Department, Myanma Railways, Corner of Theinbyu Street and Merchant Street, Botahtaung Township, Yangon, Myanmar, Phone +95 1 291985 or 291994 or 294352 not later than 30 September 2014, upon providing confirmation of payment of fees for RFP Document.

The non-refundable fee for RFP Document (including an electronic copy, a CD ROM), total of US$30,000.00 (United States Dollars thirty thousand only) is payable to the remittance channel as stated below.
